Engagement Objectives:

The responses to this RFP should conform to the following guidelines. The County has the following objectives (see also Appendix A):

  • Mitigate guttering

  • Remove and install new external signage

  • Remove counter/security point inside north east door

  • Install wainscoting throughout and repaint interior walls throughout

  • Remove middle front bathroom, remove east bathroom wall to combine with closet, remove closet door in women’s restroom

  • Replace ceiling tiles as needed

  • Remove courtroom furniture/fixtures

  • Remove elevated floor in courtroom, install flooring

  • Build walls in courtroom according to drawings

  • Drop ceilings in courtroom

  • Completely rewire lighting in building

  • Repair vinyl/tile flooring throughout as needed

  • Remove wall between two middle north offices

  • Remove plastic/COVID shield in main/public office

  • Removed carpet throughout and replace flooring with vinyl/tile flooring

  • Tuck point exterior as needed

  • Ensure ADA compliance in public access areas

  • Add/remove electrical wiring and components as needed

  • Run fiber as needed

  • Repair steeples;

  • Replace roof;

  • Replace guttering;

  • Improve lighting in main hallway;

  • Mitigate foundation issues;

  • Tuckpointing/brick repair as needed;

  • Replace knob and tube wiring;

  • Configure and install HVAC system;

  • Repair floors as needed;

  • Repair/replace windows as needed;

  • Paint interior/exterior as needed;

  • Repair/replace signage on property as needed;

  • Repair gazebo;

  • Any other work as discussed during tour of building.

Engagement Objectives:

The responses to this RFP should conform to the following guidelines. The County has the following objectives:

  • Widen west outside doorway to 42 inches

  • Support trusses and floor joists for wall removal

  • Expand east room by demolishing two walls on west side of room

  • Move doorway into hall

  • Demo eastern bathroom and closet

  • Pull electrical, plumbing, remove debris as needed

  • Remove any exposed electrical, phone, data wires

  • Adjust lighting as needed, change ballasts

  • Ceilings and sheetrock repaired and retextured and painted throughout

  • Remove interior walls on north side of hallway, west of meeting room, all the way to the west bathroom

  • Replace sheetrock, flooring and lighting in west bathroom

  • Replace flooring throughout

  • Remove interior walls on south side from maintenance room west to end wall

  • Replace five aluminum windows with vinyl windows to match existing

  • Run cable as needed for fiber and data

  • Remove post in meeting room
