Updated: Oct 5, 2022

MOUND CITY – On Monday, Aug. 29, American Medical Response (AMR) Operations Manager Galen Anderson gave ambulance reports to the Linn County commission. The calls so far in August were 71 transports – 21 of which were in the past week.

Anderson said it appeared that the calls for August were continuing with July’s busy trend.

Anderson thanked the commissioners for telling him about the STARS program at Pleasanton for Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT). He said that he had talked with Jay Allen, the director of the program and that AMR would begin a partnership with the program during the spring semester when EMT classes were offered there.
