
Ambulance report for April
MOUND CITY – The Linn County Commissioners heard the monthly report for April from American Medical Response (AMR) Operations Manager Galen Anderson on Monday, May 16.
Anderson reported the total calls for April were 103 and 57 transports. Two patients were flown out by helicopter, one was severe respiratory distress and one was a suspected heart attack.
By city, the numbers are:
Blue Mound, 3 calls, 0 transports
Centerville, 3 calls, 1 transport
La Cygne, 20 calls, 11 transports
Linn Valley, 12 calls, 5 transports
Mound City, 17 calls, 11 transports
Parker, 16 calls, 11 transports
Pleasanton, 30 calls, 18 transports
Prescott, 1 call, 0 transports
The breakdown for commission districts are:
District 1, 36 calls, 19 transports, average response time 11 minutes 23 seconds
District 2, 35 calls, 21 transports, 10 minutes, 15 seconds
District 3, 31 calls, 17 transports, 17 minutes, 14 seconds
Anderson said that there were 19 transports for the week ending May 15 and 27 transports for the month of May to date.
