
AMR releases service numbers for February

MOUND CITY – American Medical Response (AMR) Supervisor Galen Anderson reported the figures for the week ending March 12 and for the month of February to the Linn County Commissioners on Monday, March 14.
Anderson reported the total calls for February was 100 and 63 transports with an overall response time of 11 minutes, 46 seconds. Three patients were transferred out by helicopter, one was choking that progressed into a cardiac arrest, one heart attack, and one motorcycle vs. deer accident.
By city, the numbers are:
Blue Mound, 6 calls, 3 transports
Centerville, 4 calls, 2 transports
La Cygne, 24 calls, 15 transports
Linn Valley, 11 calls, 7 transports
Mound City, 13 calls, 7 transports
Parker, 8 calls, 6 transports
Pleasanton, 32 calls, 23 transports
Prescott, 1 call, no transports
The breakdown for commission districts are:
District 1, 38 calls, 24 transports, average response time 10 minutes 58 seconds
District 2, 34 calls, 21 transports, 7 minutes, 36 seconds
District 3, 27 calls, 14 transports, 18 minutes, 10 seconds
Anderson said that there were 20 transports for the week ending March 12.
