Update: The performances of "Arsenic and Old Lace," previously scheduled for Friday evening and Saturday afternoon by the Prairie View theater students, has been postponed until Dec. 3.
In a interview on Thursday, director Austin Pixton said that, due to unforeseen circumstances, the performance was being set back two weeks. Because of that delay and scheduling conflicts, there will only be one performance rather than two, he said.
However, because of that the students will be able to perform the play for middle- and high-school audiences.
Pixton said that in light of those circumstances that he and the cast agreed that it was best that the performance be rescheduled.
