Clara Mae Rees, age 84, Cherokee, Kansas, passed away Saturday, August 8, 2026.  

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Saturday, August 15, 2026, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Galena, Kansas.  Burial will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Mapleton, Kansas, Cemetery.  The Rosary will be prayed at 10:30 a.m. before Mass on Saturday at St. Patrick.  Memorial contributions can be made to St. Bridget Catholic Church.  The funds will be used for the current restoration of St. Bridget.  Online condolences can be left at www.schneiderfunerals.com.
