County health department restocked on COVID vaccine

PLEASANTON – In a telephone interview with County Health Department Director Missy Lancaster on Tuesday, Feb. 1, she said that the vaccinations for the coronavirus had been received. People can come in for COVID-19 vaccines starting on Wednesday, Feb. 2.


As of Tuesday afternoon, county offices will be open on Wednesday but check before braving the snow to make sure the office to which you are going is open, including the health department.


The health department continues to do testing everyday. To get tested, call in and make an appointment and you will be met outside to be given the test. The number there is (913) 352-6640.
