Crew moves into La Cygne ambulance quarters

MOUND CITY – On Monday, Dec. 20, the Linn County Commissioners learned that the American Medical Response (AMR) La Cygne ambulance staff had moved into their new quarters that used to be the La Cygne Senior Center.


According to AMR Supervisor Galen Anderson, the staff moved in on Wednesday, Dec. 15. He told the commissioners that the township building they moved out of was left in good shape. Later in the meeting, Public Works Director Shaun West said that he had turned the keys back to the township.

Anderson reported to the commissioners that AMR had transported 23 people to the hospital the past week. The total of transports for December has been 42.
