Fire and ambulance reports for Aug. 22

MOUND CITY – American Medical Response (AMR) operations manager Galen Anderson reported that there had been 13 transports in the last seven days bringing the total for August up to 50.


Anderson said that all the vacant positions for the Linn County ambulance service had been filled.


Commission Chair Jim Johnson read the fire report. There were nine incidents. One dispatched and cancelled, two gas leaks, one off-road heavy equipment vehicle, one brush and grass fire, one grass fire, and three motor vehicle accidents with no injuries.
