Jayhawk to drop requiring masks on buses, vans

MOUND CITY – Jayhawk USD 346 Superintendent Shawn Thomas announced on Monday that the district would no longer require wearing masks on district buses and vans.


"Today, USD 346 was notified by the Kansas Department of Education that the CDC is no longer recommending the wearing of masks on buses or vans for public schools," he said in a statement on the district website. "As of today, Feb. 28, USD 346 will no longer be requiring masks on school provided transportation."
