LA CYGNE – The offices of the city of La Cygne will continue to forego opening the doors at City Hall again this week because of COVID-19. The city locked the doors last week after one of their staff received a positive test for coronavirus.
The decision was made to continue the lock down this week as the staff continues to recover from the virus.
There will continue to be a staff member to answer the phone, (913) 757-2144. Utility payments can be made by phone, online at cityoflacygne.org, or by putting them in the dropbox in front of City Hall. Those who use the dropbox are urged to take care that payments don't get stuck in the "teeth" of the slot.
