Below is a summary of persons recently taken into custody by Linn County law enforcement officers and booked into the Linn County jail. All of the persons listed are presumed innocent until proven guilty.


December 18

• Duran Denyer, Blue Mound, was taken into custody by the Linn County Sheriff’s

Office for an alleged probation violation.


December 16

• Steven Long, Kansas City, Kan., was taken into custody by the Pleasanton

Police Department for alleged possession of marijuana; use or possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia into human body; operate vehicle.


December 15

• Jade McNeal, Coffeyville, Kan., was taken into custody by the Linn County

Sheriff’s Office for pending warrant by judge’s order.

• Shawn Maxwell, Fort Scott, was taken into custody by the Bourbon County

Sheriff’s Office for alleged probation violation.


December 13

• Jody Hayes, Osawatomie, was taken into custody by the Miami County Sheriff’s

Office for alleged failure to appear in court.

• Dmitri Stamm, Pittsburg, was taken into custody by the Linn County Sheriff’s

Office for an alleged probation violation.


December 11

• Amanda Edgerton, Blue Mound, was taken into custody by the Linn County

Sheriff’s Office for alleged failure to appear in court.


December 8

• J. Schmieding, Raytown, Mo., was taken into custody by the Linn County

Sheriff’s Office for alleged failure to appear in court.


December 7

• Robert Capp, Pleasanton, was taken into custody by the Pleasanton Police

Department for alleged ignition interlock device; operate a car without a required device; driving while suspended.

• Larry Brown II, Erie, Kan., was taken into custody by the Linn County Sheriff’s Office for alleged failure to appear in court.

• Andrew Galloway, West Mineral, Kan., was taken into custody by the Linn County Sheriff’s Office for alleged failure to appear in court.


December 6

• Colt Umphenour, Mound City, was taken into custody by the Pleasanton Police

Department for alleged failure to appear in court.

• Timothy Prettyman, Mulberry, Kan., was taken into custody by the Linn County

Sheriff’s Office for alleged failure to appear in court and probation violation.


December 5

• James Higgins, Pleasanton, was taken into custody by the Linn County Sheriff’s

Office for alleged criminal threat; cause terror, threat, or evacuation; disorderly

conduct; fighting words, or noisy conduct to cause resentment.
