Linn County bookings from August 10 – 31, 2023

Below is a summary of persons recently taken into custody by Linn County law enforcement officers. The list includes some persons who were booked into the Linn County jail. All of the persons listed are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

August 31

• Matthew Willard, Mound City, was taken into custody by the Linn County Sheriff’s Office for an alleged probation violation.

• William Vandenberg, Spring Hill, was taken into custody by the Linn County Sheriff’s Office for alleged reckless driving, display of license plates, fleeing or attempt to elude a law enforcement officer during the commission of a felony.

• Heidi Bolden, Mound City, was taken into custody by the Linn County Sheriff’s Office for alleged failure to appear in court.

August 28

• Donald Barron II, Fort Scott, was taken into custody by the Pleasanton Police Department to hold for another agency.

August 27

• Max Silvey, Olathe, was taken into custody by the Linn County Sheriff’s Office for alleged improper driving on a roadway with lanes and driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

August 26

• Angela Owens, Kansas City, Kan., was taken into custody by the Parker Police Department for allegedly driving with a revoked or suspended license, no vehicle liability insurance, and possession of an opiate, opium, narcotic or certain stimulant.

August 25

• June Wards, La Cygne, was taken into custody by the Linn County Sheriff’s Office for alleged possession of stolen property with a value exceeding $100,000.

• Anthony Tomblin Jr., Ottawa, was taken into custody by the Linn County Sheriff’s Office for alleged failure to appear in court.

August 24

• Ashley Strange, Linn Valley, was taken into custody by the Linn County Sheriff’s Office to hold for another agency.

• Chester Casida, Pleasanton, was taken custody by the La Cygne Police Department for alleged domestic battery against a family member.

• Mason Hochhalter, Parker, was taken into custody by the Linn County Sheriff’s Office for an alleged probation violation.

August 23

• Maci Roy, Butler, Mo., was taken into custody by the Linn County Sheriff’s Office for alleged domestic battery against a family member and failure to appear in court.

• Kristofer Vanlerberg, Gardner, was taken into custody by the Linn County Sheriff’s Office for an alleged probation violation.

August 22

• Joanna Meyer, Mound City, was taken into custody by the Linn County Sheriff’s Office for alleged violation of a protection order.

August 21

• Jerry Smith Jr., Pleasanton, was taken into custody by the Pleasanton Police Department for 11 counts of alleged cruelty to animals, abandoning without provisions for care.

• Ruben Rameriz Jr., Houston, Texas, was taken into custody by the Linn County Sheriff’s Office for operating a motor vehicle without a license and a first offense of attempt to elude a law enforcement officer.

August 20

• Luis Flores Pineda, Overland Park, was taken into custody by the Pleasanton Police Department for alleged possession of opiate, opium, narcotic or certain stimulant and use or possession of drug paraphernalia.

• Luis Moncada Canelas, El Campo, Texas, was taken into custody by the Pleasanton Police Department for alleged driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol and possession of opiate, opium, narcotic or certain stimulant.

August 19

• Jorge Rodas, Kansas City, Mo., was taken into custody by an outside agency for alleged interference with a law enforcement officer, concealing or destroying evidence, fishing without a license and miscellaneous wildlife violations.

• Joseph Amstutz, Tulsa, Okla., was taken into custody by the Pleasanton Police Department for alleged driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol and being incapable of safe driving.

August 16

• Victor Clevenger, La Cygne, was taken into custody by the Linn County Sheriff’s Office for alleged contempt of court.

August 13

• Karis Harris, Linn Valley, was taken into custody by the Linn Valley Police Department for alleged domestic battery against a family member.

• Randy Johnson, Lansing, Kan., was taken into custody by the Linn County Sheriff’s Office for alleged refusal to submit to a test for drugs or alcohol, improper driving on a roadway with lanes, and driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

• Collin Grant, Pembert, S.C., was taken into custody by the La Cygne Police Department for alleged domestic battery against a family member.

• Charity Burke, Pleasanton, was taken into custody by the Pleasanton Police Department for allegedly allowing a dog to run at large.
