Below is a summary of persons recently taken into custody by Linn County law enforcement officers and booked into the Linn County jail. All of the persons listed are presumed innocent until proven guilty.


November 11

• Brandon Willis, Fort Scott, was taken into custody by the Linn Valley Police Department for alleged attempted domestic battery; knowing/reckless bodily harm.


November 10

• Jacob Bryan, Havensville, Kan., was taken into custody by the Linn County Sheriff’s Department for alleged probation violation.

November 9

• Billy Shipps, Olathe, was taken into custody by the Linn County Sheriff’s Office for alleged defective tail lamp on motor vehicle; driving while license cancelled/suspended/revoked; operating vehicle without registration or with expired tag.


November 8

• Mikayla Ward, Pleasanton, was taken into custody by the Linn County Sheriff’s Office for alleged domestic battery; knowing or reckless bodily harm to family member.


November 6

• Tina Nichols, La Cygne, was taken into custody by the Linn County Sheriff’s Office for alleged driving on left side of roadway prohibited; vehicle liability insurance required; unknown circumstance; transporting an open container.

• William Quiring, Wichita, was taken into custody by the Linn County Sheriff’s Office for alleged probation violation.

• Christina Hurst, Kansas City , Mo., was taken into custody by the Linn County Sheriff’s Office for alleged failure to appear in court.


November 5

• Christopher Jessee, Kansas City, Mo., was taken into custody by the Pleasanton Police Department for alleged use/possess with intent to use drug paraphernalia into human body; possession of marijuana; possession of opiate.
