Linn County jail bookings, March 2 through March 7

Below is a summary of persons recently taken into custody by Linn County law enforcement officers and booked into the Linn County jail. All of the persons listed are presumed innocent until proven guilty.


March 7

• Joseph Flores, Pleasanton, was taken into custody by the Pleasanton Police Department and detained by a judge’s order pending warrant.

• Jennifer Spurlock, La Cygne, was taken into custody by the La Cygne Police Department to be held for another agency.


March 6

• Joshua Thompson, La Cygne, was taken into custody by the La Cygne Police Department for alleged possession of opiate, opium, narcotic or certain stimulant.

March 5

• Jeremy Niblack, Vero Beach, Fla., was taken into custody by the Linn Valley Police Department for alleged driving wrong direction on one-way road; transporting an open container; possession of firearm while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.


March 4

• Cody Rose, La Cygne, was taken into custody by the Linn County Sheriff’s Office for alleged driving while suspended; driving under the influence of drugs/alcohol.

• Bodie Woods, Drexel, Mo., was taken into custody by the La Cygne Police Department to hold for another agency.

• James Schreckhise, Pleasanton, was taken into custody by the Linn County Sheriff’s Office for alleged possession of opiate, opium, narcotic or certain stimulant; Improper stop or turn signal; Interference with law enforcement officer; conceal/alter/destroy evidence in felony case.

• Garrett Vanderwoude, Garnett, was taken into custody by the Mound City Police Department for alleged possession of opiate, opium, narcotic or certain stimulant; failure to appear; attempted use/possess w/intent to use drug paraphernalia into human body.


March 2

• Mercedes Benedick, La Cygne, was taken into custody by the Linn Valley Police Department for alleged failure to appear in court.
