May 24

• Billy Shipps, Mound City, was taken into custody by the Linn County Sheriff’s Office for alleged failure to wear a seatbelt; Vehicles, operate vehicles without registration or with an expired tag; driving while suspended, second or subsequent conviction.

May 23

• Thomas Gatlin, Mound City, was taken into custody by the Linn County Sheriff’s Office for alleged domestic battery; knowing rude physical contact with family member.

• Misty Varnell-Cannon, Osawatomie, was taken into custody by the Linn County Sheriff’s Office for alleged improper driving on laned roadway; Possession of opium, opiate, narcotic or certain stimulant; use/possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia.

• Chester Casida, Olathe, was taken into custody by the Linn County Sheriff’s Office for alleged theft of property or services, valued at $1,500 or less; burglary; non-dwelling to commit felony to commit felony, theft, or sexually motivated crime; failure to appear in court.

• Laura Myers, La Cygne, was taken into custody by the Linn County Sheriff’s Office for alleged criminal damage to property; without consent value $1,000 to $25,000.

May 22

• Eva Riojas, La Cygne, was taken into custody by the Linn County Sheriff’s Office for alleged attempted aggravated battery; reckless great bodily harm; criminal threat, cause terror, evacuation or disruption; criminal damage to property; without consent value.

• Andrea Caruso, Adriana, Mo., was taken into custody by the Linn County Sheriff’s Office for alleged detainment by judge’s order waiting for pending warrant.

• Christopher Edwards, Kansas City, Mo., was taken into custody by the Pleasanton Police Department for alleged for possession of opiate, opium, narcotic or certain stimulant; Use/possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia into human body.

• James Higgins, Pleasanton, was taken into custody by the Pleasanton Police Department for alleged aggravated battery on a law enforcement officer; great body harm to state/county/city officer on duty; battery on law enforcement officer; physical contact with county or city officer on duty.

• Sandra Atkisson, Pleasanton, was taken into custody by the Pleasanton Police Department for alleged domestic battery; Knowing or reckless bodily harm to family member.

• Dakota Ryles, Butler, Mo., was taken into custody by the Linn County Sheriff’s Office for alleged domestic battery; knowing or reckless bodily harm to family member.

• Maci Roy, Butler, Mo., was taken into custody by the Linn County Sheriff’s Office for alleged driving under the influence of drugs/alcohol; domestic battery; knowing or reckless bodily harm to family member.

• Dale Samyn, Mound City, was taken into custody by the Linn County Sheriff’s Office for alleged domestic battery; knowing rude physical contact with a family member.
