Linn County Sheriff's report, Dec. 12–18

MOUND CITY – The Linn County Sheriff’s report for the week of Dec. 12 through Dec. 18. includes:

• Total prisoners at the Justice Center the past week were 54. There were 10

prisoners released the past week.

• No prisoners were sent to other facilities.

• Twenty-eight prisoners were from other facilities.

• Total 911 calls were 105.

• There were 4,492 jail contacts.

• Total calls for service were 365.

• Total civil service papers served were 8.

• There were five vehicle identification number (VIN) inspection.

• Eighteen new cases (criminal, child in need of care, etc.) were opened.

• Two cases were closed.

• There were three vehicle crashes.

• There were 56 school resource officer (SRO) activities.

• Bailiff contacts were 108.

• Eight reports of livestock out.
