Linn County Sheriff's report, February 13

MOUND CITY – Linn County Sheriff Kevin Friend presented his report to the Linn County Commission on Monday, Feb. 13.

• Total prisoners at the Justice Center the past week were 49. Twenty prisoners were released the past week.

• No prisoners were sent to other facilities.

• Thirty-one prisoners were from other facilities

• Total 911 calls were 60.

• There were 3,997 jail contacts.

• Total calls for service were 557.

• Total civil service papers served were 14.

• There were three vehicle identification number (VIN) inspection.

• Thirteen new cases (criminal, child in need of care, etc.) were opened.

• Eight cases were closed.

• There were three vehicle crashes.

• There were 157 school resource officer (SRO) activities.

• Bailiff contacts were 90.

• Received three reports that livestock were out.
