Vehicle accidents

• A 2021 Ford Explorer driven by Larry Holt, Mound City, westbound on 1150 Road near the Ingram Road intersection at about 11 p.m. on June 20, was struck by a deer entering the roadway. Holt was not injured.

• Chris Steele of Topeka was asleep and legally parked in a driveway off Meadow View Road in a 2005 SEAT LR3 four-door at 6 a.m. on June 21 when an unknown vehicle struck and damaged his vehicle. The investigation is on going.

• A 2014 Ford pickup driven by Robert Matiles of Centerville was westbound on Kansas Highway 52 near Tucker Road at about 9:30 p.m. on June 24 when the vehicle was struck by a deer entering the roadway. Matiles was not injured.
