Osawatomie couple waives extradition to Linn County

MOUND CITY – A couple from Osawatomie arrested for allegedly breaking into a church in Parker on Dec. 13 have waived extradition in Clark County, Nev.
Linn County Sheriff Kevin Friend said on Tuesday that the pair will be transported back to Linn County in the near future for appearance on the warrants.
Linn County Attorney Burton Harding filed warrants for Matthew Allen Joles, 34, and Shila R. Fox, 30, for allegedly breaking into the First Baptist Church of Parker with the intent of committing a theft. The offense is a felony punishable by up to 34 months in prison.
A person was caught on cameras – recently installed outside the church – on Dec. 13. Items missing from the church included gifts purchased for a local family.
