He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Beverly Howard and Lineta Castor.

Survivors include his daughters, Kendra Baez and Kayla (Jared) Sheridan, both of Monett, MO; grandchildren, Braiden Castor, Laci Sheridan, Bentley Castor, Bradlee Baez, Hunter Scroggs, Luka Sheridan, and Keenan Sheridan; sisters, Dalleta Dutra and Dolores Redifer; niece, Taylor (Robert) Brewer; and great-niece and nephew, Lettie and Baine.

Richard will be remembered for his love of family, his sense of humor, and the many miles he traveled both on the road and in life.
