Prescott Library coloring contest announces winners

Young artists got the chance to show their skill and win cash prizes in a Christmas coloring contest sponsored by the Prescott Library this holiday season. The top three winners in each age group received a cash prize with the library handing out a total of $100 in prize money.


The winners of the contest are:

Ages 8 - 12:

Somer Surgeon, first place, $25

Jaidyn Foxworth, second, $15

Makenna Parks, third, $10

Honorable Mention:

Patience Parks

Charles Parks

Dolly Umphenour

Josh Cowdin


Ages 4-7

Nevaeh Fialkowski, first place, $25

Jillian Foxworth, second, $15

Emerson Ayers, third, $10

Honorable Mention:

Erica Wilkinson

Sapphire Long


The Prescott Library plans to sponsor more events similar to this one. The art work will be displayed at the library until after the first of the year.


The library staff appreciate all those who participated, and look forward to watching our young patrons continue to grow in the library activities organized by the Prescott Library.
