Barbara Ann Duncan passed away July 31, 2023 from a tragic car accident close to her home in Florala, AL.

Barbara was a former La Cygne area resident and real estate agent who was well-known for her involvement in civic activities in the area.

She is survived by her loving husband, Dean Duncan, daughter, Amy Sherman and husband Brian, son, Tim Hicks and wife Jenny, stepdaughter Heather Duncan Laird and her husband Alan, stepson, Randy Duncan, stepson, Tom Duncan, stepson, Doug Duncan and his wife Nancy, sisters, Lori Kuykendall and Teresa Riley, husband Eldon, brother, Tim Porter and Diana. She is also survived by her grandchildren, who she loved as much as she did life, affectionately aka Mammie, Gavin, Kade, Hana, Will, Annie, Shannon, Collin (Hannah), Caitlyn (Dawson), Casey and Cody, great-grandkids, Chase, Colt and Ayden.

A private service for family was held at Evans Funeral Home, Florala, FL, and a Celebration of Life was held on Thursday, August 3, 2023 in Destin FL.
