The Pleasanton Junior High and Senior High School band and concert choir presented a winter music program on Dec. 13 in the school's gymnasium.

The band played two numbers: a traditional arrangement of "Jingle Bells" and Ludwig van Beethoven's "Ode to Joy" from "Symphony No. 9" arranged by John Higgins.

The concert choice performed "Sanctus" by Sandra Howard, "O Music" by Lowell Mason, and "Carols Around (Around A Round," which were traditional carols arranged by Carl Nygard.

The performance was directed by Taylor Dodson, district music teacher.

Members of the combined band play "Ode to Joy."
