Ambulance and fire reports for March 27

MOUND CITY – The Linn County Commissioners received the weekly fire and ambulance reports, on Monday, March 27.


Linn County Fire Chief Randy Hegwald reported that there had been five incidents the past week making the year to date total 94. The incidents were two medical assists, two motor vehicle accidents with no injuries and one brush or brush-and-grass mixture fire.


Hegwald reported that there would be eight Linn County firefighters in Parsons this weekend at a two-day fire school.


American Medical Response (AMR) Operations Manager Galen Anderson reported that calls had picked up in the last seven days with 17 transports the past week. The total transports for the month of March so far is 47.
