TOPEKA – The Kansas Office of the State Bank Commissioner (OSBC) is proud to announce its sponsorship of the upcoming Women & Money Conference hosted by the Kansas Financial Empowerment Foundation and the Kansas State Treasurer.


The Third Annual Women & Money Conference is being held on October 8, 2026, from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at The University of Kansas Conference Center in Lawrence. This daylong event is dedicated to empowering and educating women interested in unlocking their financial future. Whether you’re looking to save more, get out of debt, or even start your own business, this event has something for everyone.


This year’s Featured Speaker is New York Times bestselling author, Rachel Cruze. Cruze is a financial expert and co-host of The Ramsey Show and SmartMoney Happy Hour. Since 2010, Cruze has served at Ramsey Solutions, where she helps people get out of debt, take control of their money, and create a life they love. She’s authored four bestselling books, including Know Yourself, Know Your Money.


Admission to the conference is complimentary but seats are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Educating Kansas consumers is an important part of the mission of the OSBC, and we are very proud to be a gold sponsor of the Women & Money Conference again this year. The OSBC’s sponsorship was funded by fines imposed and collected from non-depository regulated institutions, or settlements reached with companieswithin the jurisdiction of the OSBC. No taxpayer monies or bank assessment funds are used.
