Journal staff report

On Saturday evening, two Linn County communities held lighting ceremonies to usher in the Christmas season.

More seasonal celebrations will be held on Saturday as Mound City organizations host both morning and evening events. And on Sunday, La Cygne's Christmas on Broadway and lights parade is scheduled to begin. See preceding stories on those events by going to the Journal's home page.
