Commission meeting cancelled because of lack of quorum

MOUND CITY – The Linn County Commission meeting scheduled for Monday, Oct. 27, was cancelled due to lack of a quorum. The next commission meeting will be Monday, Nov. 3, at 9 a.m.                    

Linn County Clerk Danielle Souza told the Linn County Journal that both Commissioner Alison Hamilton and Commissioner Jason Hightower were unable to attend the meeting. She said that since they both take their jobs as Linn County commissioners very seriously that she did not ask them why they were not attending.
