MOUND CITY – The Linn County Commissioners once again postponed making a decision on where the Pleasanton senior meal site will be.

On Monday, June 6, Commissioner Danny McCullough, who has been in charge of gathering information for deciding on the location, said that he had different trades over at the present site that morning determining, on a one-to-10 scale, how badly the repairs needed to be done. They will then give estimates.

He said there were people there to estimate roofing, electrical and trim costs. He said that he would have that information next week.

The meal site is currently in an older building that needs repairs. Commissioners have also considered moving the site to the Pleasanton Community Center on Main Street or the Linn County Health Department on Tucker Road.
