PARKER – Linn County Clerk David Lamb announced that he was planning on running for the office of county clerk again at the Republican Party chili supper on Monday, Feb. 19.

Lamb said that while he is running again, if re-elected, he plans to stay in that position long enough to get someone trained to take over. He said that he has recently found several people who have expressed interest in that position.

Over the past several years, Lamb has trained several employees for that detail- oriented position, but they have decided to not to take on that responsibility.
