Freda Mae Elledge

Hume, Missouri


Freda Mae Elledge, of Raytown, Missouri, formerly of Hume, Missouri, age 87, passed away Thursday, August 6, 2026. She was born on January 12, 1939, in Hume, Missouri, the daughter of Paul Kenneth and Zelma Lucindia Davidson Foote.


She spent most of her working career as secretary for the Meyer Boulevard United Methodist Church. She liked to crochet and oil paint.


Freda is survived by two sons, Lyn Elledge and wife Melodie, and Jason Elledge and wife Paula; three daughters, Tami Riekena and husband Tim, Stacy Vannoy and husband Doug, and Jami Lam and husband Jim; a brother, Gene Foote and wife Diane; a sister, Maxine Dixon; twelve grandchildren, and twenty-seven great-grandchildren.  She will be missed by her loving family and many friends.


Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Monday, August 10, 2026, at the Schneider Funeral Home Pleasanton Chapel. Burial in the Hume Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12 noon to service time at the Pleasanton Chapel. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Hume Food Pantry.
