Health department to offer flu shots to county employees

MOUND CITY – It was announced on Monday, Oct. 3, that the Linn County Health Department will be giving flu shots to county employees on Friday, Oct. 15, starting at 7:30 a.m. at the courthouse annex.

Linn Commissioner Rick James read the health department numbers for the past week as Linn County Health Department Administrator Missy Lancaster was unable to make it to the meeting.


According to the report, 53 COVID boosters were given the past week, 11 flu shots, four immunizations, one lab draw, one strep test and 25 Women, Infant, and Children (WIC) contacts were made.
