Press release

The La Cygne Library will transform into a vibrant hub of creativity and commerce as 4-H members from the Marais des Cygnes District host the 4-H Market from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Nov. 22. This special event invites the community to shop, support, and celebrate the entrepreneurial spirit of youth.

Over the past few months, youth ages 7 to 18 have participated in monthly workshops to learn how to start and grow their own businesses. From budgeting and branding to customer service and goal setting, they’ve gained real-world skills that will serve them for years to come.

Now, they’re ready to showcase their work.

Visitors can browse booths featuring holiday ornaments and even a youth-run coffee cart. Each product reflects the creativity, dedication, and business savvy of young vendors who have spent months preparing for this event.

Most vendors only accept cash, so plan accordingly.

Whether you're looking for a unique gift or simply want to support local youth, the 4-H Market promises a festive and meaningful morning for the whole family.
