James Alvy Stinner, age 74, Pleasanton, Kansas, formerly of La Cygne, Kansas, passed away Friday, March 29, 2024.  He was born on November 7, 1949, in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Mark George Stinner Sr. and Eleanor Beatrice Schinkel Stinner.


In 2006, James formed a relationship with D.J. McLaughlin.  The two have been together ever since.  


He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Mark Stinner.  James is survived by his wife, D.J.; a daughter, Shelly Dimitrijevic; a grandson, Sebastiano Malvezzia; sister, Terri Moore; stepchildren, Rene Hetzer, Kimberly Campbell, John Hogue, and Lucas Campbell,;and six step-grandchildren.
