Keagan Grubbs, age 8, Mound City, Kansas, passed away Tuesday, January 28, as a result of an accident. He was born on November 4, 2016, in Kansas City, Kansas, the son of Jason Grubbs and Angel Balz.


He was currently a student at Jayhawk Elementary School.  He was an outdoor kid.  He liked to fish, ride bikes and drive his go-kart.


He was preceded in death by an infant sister, Octavia Grubbs.  Keagan is survived by his mother, Angel Balz; father, Jason Grubbs; brother, Rayjay Sulllivan; sister, Bella Trowbridge; maternal grandparents, Bobbie and William Trowbridge, William Balz, and Shelby Weaver.  


Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, February 1, 2025. at the Schneider Funeral Home, Mound City Chapel.  Memorial contributions will be used to defray funeral expenses.  Gifts can be sent to Schneider Funeral Home, P.O.
