La Cygne man faces 5 counts in FBI probe into child porn

LA CYGNE – A La Cygne man has been charged in U.S. District Court for Kansas following the execution of search warrants at his home on Wednesday, Oct. 21.

Brett A. Heide was taken into custody at a La Cygne business where he worked following the raid by Federal Bureau of Investigation agents at his home.

On Friday, Oct. 26, Heide was charged with two counts of receipt of child sexual abuse material, two counts of distribution of that material, and one count of possession and access with intent to view child sexual abuse material involving children under the age of 12.
