LA CYGNE – A visit from Santa, performances by the Prairie View High School choir and band, a visit from the Grinch, crowning of the Snow Flake princess and prince, and hot cocoa are just some of the draws this Sunday, Dec. 11.

Christmas on Broadway, La Cygne’s holiday celebration, will run from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. and will include entertainment in several buildings on Broadway in the city’s business district.

The La Cygne Library will host a visit from Santa, crafts, a raffle and more. The PVHS choir and band will perform at the La Cygne Community Building, and Peoples Telecommunications will serve hot cocoa and treats at its building across from the library.

Crafts and a bake sale will accompany an old-fashioned Christmas scene at the La Cygne Historical Society museum a little further north on Broadway.

And back at the other end of the street at Thayer Park, children of all ages will be able to meet the Grinch and write letters to Santa.
