La Cygne to host training on Kansas Open Meetings Act

LA CYGNE – The La Cygne City Council will host a training session on the Kansas Open Meeting Act (KOMA) at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 17 in the Swan Room at the La Cygne Library.


The training will include the approved reasons for executive sessions.


The training will be provided by La Cygne City Attorney Jeffrey Deane with Lauber Municipal Law.


La Cygne City Clerk Jodi Wade said that, in addition to La Cygne staff and council attending, people from Linn Valley and Pleasanton have also indicated they will attend. For more information or to RSVP call 913-757-2144.
