Lila R. McCarty, age 86 of Parker, Kansas, passed away on Saturday, March 8, 2025, in Richmond, Kansas.  She was born the daughter of Charles and Edith Baldwin on May 21, 1938, in Kansas City, Kansas.Lila enjoyed reading, gardening and doing needlepoint.  


She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dennis McCarty Sr.; two sons, Tom and Walter McCarty; a daughter, Sheila McCarty; two brothers and 1 sister.  Lila is survived by her daughter Denise Zimmerman of Parker, Kansas; a son, Dennis McCarty Jr. of Mound City, Kansas; seven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.


A private family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  Online condolences may be left at www.schneiderfunerals.com.
