Linda Sue Cullor

Linda Sue Cullor, lovingly known by her family and friends as Granny, Lynn, and Momma C, was born November 8, 1946, in Tama, Iowa. To the people who loved her, she was so much more than a name. She was a loving mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, and friend whose fun-loving spirit, generous heart, and ability to make people laugh made her truly unforgettable.

Momma C had a way of making people feel good simply by being around her. She was incredibly selfless and always willing to give her time, her talents, and her love to the people around her. She had a genuine gift for making people laugh, feel welcome, and feel cared for.

She found joy in so many things. She loved the beach, gardening, Israel, donkeys, and making preserves. She was also exceptionally gifted musically. A talented pianist, organ player, and trombone player, she could play by ear and had a natural musical ability that brought joy to those who heard her play.

Momma C was an incredibly hard worker. She dedicated 28 years of her life to Deluxe Check Printing Company, where she continued working until she was hospitalized. Her strong work ethic was a reflection of the determination and dedication she carried throughout her life.

Some of the most treasured memories of Momma C were found in the simple moments spent together as a family. Christmas meant tacos for dinner. There were homemade cinnamon rolls, working together in the garden, family gatherings, laughter, and stories that will be remembered for years to come. Her years living in Drexel, Missouri, brought many special family memories that will forever hold a place in the hearts of those who loved her.

Momma C was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joseph Cullor, and her son, Jonathan Cullor.

She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Gail; her sons, Aaron (Deanna) and Tim (Brandy); her grandchildren, Joe (Bri), Steve (Sara), Josh (Kim), Kelli (Sara), Jordan (Rob), Dakota, and Ashtin; her great-grandchildren, Gavin (Emily), Garret, Gabbi, Grace, Raina, Hayden, Tristan, Tryton, and Titan; and her great-great-grandchild, Walker.

For those who knew her as Granny, she will always be the woman behind the laughter, the music, the cinnamon rolls, the garden, the family traditions, and the memories that brought everyone together. For those who knew her as Lynn or Momma C, she was the person who could brighten a room simply by being herself.

Her family will miss her deeply, but the love she gave so freely will remain a part of them for generations to come. Her life was measured not only in the years she lived, but in the people she loved, the laughter she created, and the memories she left behind.

Visitation will be held at Eddy-Birchard Funeral Home in Osawatomie, Kansas, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., with graveside services immediately following.
