Below is a summary of persons recently taken into custody by Linn County law enforcement officers and booked into the Linn County jail. All of the persons listed are presumed innocent until proven guilty.


August 31

• Donnell Mondaine, Kansas City, Mo., was taken into custody by the Linn County Sheriff's Office for alleged possession of stolen property with a value less than #1,000 and probation violation.


August 30

• Tony Ashcroft, Basore, Kan., was taken into custody by the Linn County Sheriff's Office for alleged probation violation.


August 29

• Charles Purvis, Mound City, was taken into custody by the Mound City Police Department for alleged probation violations.


August 28

• Durand Denyer, Mapleton, was taken into custody by the Linn County Sheriff's Office for alleged attempt to elude or flee a law enforcement officer.

• Rolando Franco-Diaz, Kansas City, Mo., was taken into custody by the Kansas Department of Wildlife, Parks and Tourism for alleged failure to have a required fishing license, interference with a law enforcement officer, obstruction of warrant service or execution.


August 27

• Lisa Smith, Pleasanton, was taken into custody by the La Cygne Police Department for alleged domestic battery, knowing rude physical contact with a family member.

• Rebecca Sombatchareun, Pleasanton, was taken into custody by the Linn County Sheriff's Office for alleged violation of the offender registration act.


August 26

• Micheal Hatch, Emporia, was taken into custody by the Linn County Sheriff's Office for alleged probation violation.


August 24

• Charles Bradley, Pleasanton, was taken into custody by the Linn County Sheriff's Office for alleged driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, improper driving on a laned roadway.

• Jeremiah Wallace, Centerville, was taken into custody by the Linn County Sheriff's Office for alleged failure to appear in court.


August 23

• Amanda Vanloenen, Mapleton, was detained by the Linn County District Court for alleged failure to appear in court.

• Matthew Willard, Mound City, was taken into custody by the Linn County Sheriff's Office for an alleged probation violation.
