Linn County Sheriff's report for week ending July 13

MOUND CITY – The Linn County’s Sheriff’s report for Monday, July 15, showed that the current numbers for the week ending July 13 were:

• Total prisoners at the Justice Center the past week were 69. Twelve prisoners were released the past week.

• Total prisoners in were 68.

• One prisoner was sent to another facility. 

• Forty-eight prisoners were from other facilities.

• Total 911 calls were 96. 

• There were 4,382 jail contacts.

• Total calls for service were 459. 

• Total civil service papers served were 25.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                • There were four vehicle identification number (VIN) inspections.

• Fourteen new cases (criminal, child in need of care, etc.) were opened.

• Six cases were closed.

• There were five vehicle crashes worked by the sheriff’s office.

• There were no school resource officer (SRO) activities. 

• Bailiff contacts were 162 resulting in 54 calls for service..

• Three reports of livestock out were received.
