Linn Valley Community Church to celebrate 30 years

Linn Valley Community Church is excited to invite the entire community to join in celebrating its 30th anniversary on Sunday, Oct. 27, 2024. For over three decades, our church has been committed to spreading the love of Christ in our valley and beyond, and this celebration will be a momentous occasion to reflect on the past and look forward to the future.


The celebration will begin with a special 10 a.m. worship service, featuring guest speaker Don Venoit of Midwest Christian Outreach. Don will challenge us to reflect on how God has worked through the church in the past, using these lessons to inspire us as we continue sharing the gospel and building God’s Kingdom in the years to come.

Following the service, at 11 a.m., everyone is invited to join us for a reception where we will share pictures, stories, and fellowship. Refreshments will be provided as we reflect on the church’s journey and celebrate the many lives touched by its ministry. We especially encourage all those who have been impacted by Linn Valley Community Church over the years—whether as members, visitors, or community partners — to attend. This is a time for all of us to come together, share memories, and look forward to how God will continue to use our church to make an impact in the valley and beyond.


As part of the celebration, the mayor and members of Linn Valley City Council will present a special proclamation commemorating the church’s 30-year anniversary. We will also hear from past members as they share stories, offering an oral history that highlights key moments in our church's life.


As we celebrate this milestone, we are reminded of our mission: Expanding God's Kingdom by connecting people to Jesus and each other. This guiding vision has shaped our past and will continue to lead us into the future.
