Local students named to Emporia State honor roll

EMPORIA – Nearly 700 Emporia State undergraduates were named to the university honor roll for spring 2026. To qualify for the university honor roll, students earned a minimum 3.80 semester grade point average in at least 12 graded hours.
Area students on the honor roll and their majors are:
Darci Haupt of La Cygne, Kansas, Elementary Education
Qi Ballinger of Pleasanton, Kansas, Language Literary Studies & Writing
Eryn Sabine of Pleasanton, Kansas, Pre-nursing
Kara Umphenour of Pleasanton, Kansas, Nursing
