Pleasanton High School puts homecoming festivities in high gear for 'Roadtrip'

"Roadtrip to a PHS Win" is the theme for the homecoming activities this week for Pleasanton High School. With events beginning Monday, the week's activities will conclue with a pep rally, a parade down Main Street, the crowning of the 2026 homecoming queen and king and a dance on Friday, Oct. 9.
In addition to wear-a-hat-all-day for a $1 donation each day Monday through Friday, the "roadtrip" includes cuvrves that include pajama day, cowboy/cowgirl day, beach day, New York fashion day and finally class colors day (see the list of colors in the flyer below).
On Friday following the annual pep assembly in the high school gym, the parade will leave the school at 2:45 p.m. and will travel east on 10th St. to Main Street, turn west at E. Broad Steet and come back down Main Sttree to 10th Street heading back west to PHS.
Friday evening, the homecoming queen and king will be crowned at 6:30 p.m. at the football stadium ahead of the game against Southeast Cherokee. Kickoff is at 7 p.m., and the homecoming dance will follow the game.
