Although the number of entries was down in the LIGHT UP Pleasanton parade this year, those attending the event, which included dinner and a visit from Santa at the Pleasanton Community Center, had plenty of eye candy to enjoy. (Photos by Roger Sims/Linn County Journal)

The Roberts Family Dental Care's "Molar Express" float is filled with Christmas trees, packages and images of healthy teeth.

The Landmark Bank "Polar Express" float multiplies its lights by using a machine to send reflective bubbles into the crowd.

Steve Victor drives a festively decorated cart representing the Pleasanton Housing Authority.

Pat Huntley Plumbing's entry has a ride-along Santa and lights on top.

Doug and Beck Grant of Cookee's Drive-In don't need any more lights to accent this beauty, a vintage Chevy.

Elmer Moore cruises down Main in "a very nice Charger."

A light-festooned fire engine brings Santa down Main Street.

Santa waves at the crowd as he arrives at Ninth and Main to complete the parade.
