The Stars and Stripes parade will work its way south on Main Street beginning at 3 p.m., with entries beginning the lineup at Sixth Street.
The pool, which just had repairs completed, will be open noon to 9 p.m. for a free swim day.

Most of the activity throughout the afternoon will be focused around the Pleasanton Community Center at Ninth and Main streets.
At 4 p.m. several vendors will open their booths, and so will the free face painting and hair coloring booth.
Team games begin at 5:30 p.m. followed by a community picnic at 6 p.m. The city will provide the meat, drinks and table service and attendees are asked to bring a covered dish to share.
At 6:30 p.m. the foam party for kids starts south of the community center, and at 8 p.m. the live DJ street dance begins on Main. The dance will last until midnight.
At 9:30 p.m., the action shifts to Stegge Lake west of the city where the fireworks display begins at 9:30 p.m.
