LA CYGNE – Prairie View will host a high school football jamboree on Friday, Aug. 28, beginning at 5:45 p.m. The Buffalos are hosting football teams from Turner and Eudora high schools for the event.

There is no admission charge, and the stadium gates will open at 4:45 p.m.

Ninth-grade teams from Turner and Eudora will begin the evening at 5:45 p.m. with each team running six plays on offense and six on defense.

Junior varsity teams will scrimmage next beginning at 6:05 p.m. It will start with Turner vs. Prairie View, then Turner vs. Eudora, and finally Eudora vs. Prairie View. Each set will allow each team to 10 plays on offense and 10 on defense.

Varsity team scrimmages are set to begin at 6:50 p.m. in the same order: Turner vs. Prairie View, Turner vs. Eudora, and Eudora vs. Prairie View. Each team will be able to run 15 plays on offense.
