Robert Alan “Bob” Williams, age 76, of Osawatomie, Kansas, passed away Sunday, April 12, 2026, at The University of Kansas–Olathe.
Bob was born February 14, 1950, in Shelbyville, Indiana. He grew up and later built a life centered around faith and the simple joys that brought him happiness.
On June 16, 2010, Bob was united in marriage to Norma Jean (Dade) Raper at the Old Stone Church in Osawatomie. The couple made their home in Osawatomie, where they shared many years together along with their beloved dogs.
Bob worked for many years at Happy Valley Ranch, where he crafted cider presses until his retirement. He took great pride in his work and the craftsmanship he contributed over the years.
In his free time, Bob had a passion for model trains. He spent countless hours working on his own train set and often traveled to Belton, Missouri, to assist friends with their train layouts. He also enjoyed listening to Christian music and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Osawatomie.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Norma Raper of the home; his son, Danny Williams of Indiana; one sister; and many friends who will remember him fondly.
