On Saturday, Dec. 16, Rocky Suns is introducing a new event, the Parade of Trees with Santa from noon to 3 p.m. During that time the farm’s new greenhouse will be open so that visitors can see more than a dozen entrees that competing for the best-decorated Christmas tree.
For the holiday season, the farm sells homemade cocoa bombs, lower left, nine kinds of fudge, peanut balls, hard candy, and candy bars.
In addition to Santa being on hand for the kids, for an additional fee children can take part in a crafts area complete with cookies and cocoa.
In addition to its cocoa bombs, Rocky Suns offers a fudge buffet with nine different kinds of the delectable treat. They also sell hard candy, chocolate-covered pretzels, peanut brittle, candy bars, lollipops and divinity.
While the special event is this Saturday, the decorated trees will be on display every Saturday through Dec. 30. Rocky Suns Farm is located at 10062 W. 2200 Road in rural Parker.
Jars of jam line the shelves in the market's main room.
